Why hello there!
I feel like Alice, falling, falling, falling down the rabbit hole. Who knows where this blog will take me (us?!), but we have started now and cannot abandon it just yet.
These pictures were taken in the winter of 2009 - around 2 years ago now. It feels like forever ago, and at the same time, like it was just yesterday. Isn’t it bizarre how time works? It really does fly... And yet the older I get, the younger I feel at heart! Funny old life. Ha, listen to me babble on in my first post - how ridiculous! No doubt you will encounter much of my mindless “banter” within these virtual pages.
ANYWAYS... I have chosen to start off with these pictures as they are gorgeous - Crisp, crystal Wellington skies set the perfect backdrop for our glorious capital city here in little old NZ... I am so thankful to call this place home. Wellington harbour never looks more beautiful than on a clear winter’s day, with a chilling stillness lurking all around.
Along with the beautiful views of the city, the camera has captured my beautiful man - Karl - and although you cannot see his face here, if you continue to read my blog I am certain you will get to see many more pictures, and get to learn all about him. After 3 and a half years of being a couple, our lives have become very intertwined and sometimes it is hard to tell where I stop and he begins... Although that being said, this whole experiment of blogging goodness is just for me, and I will try my best to separate out all that is me and mine and share it with you all.
